Genussreich in Seligenstadt

We were in the GenussReich for breakfast today. The breakfast was delicious and the service was very friendly and courteous. But what is not at all possible: That the lady who prepares breakfast in the kitchen, hanging under her chin with her nose and throat protection, goes to the next table and greets 4 people with hugs and kisses on the left and right. In the current situation, this is simply an absolute no-go. Especially in the catering trade, which, like no other trade, is dependent on strict compliance with hygiene rules. By this I meant explicitly not the waitress, but the lady who works in the kitchen.

We were there for the breakfast buffet ´Deluxe´ on a Saturday. The location seemed very cool and sober to me. The staff was friendly, but the buffet was quite clear. Refilling was often not possible. At the price of the buffet of 19.50 EUR only orange juice and water was included, everything else had to be bought. A glass of sparkling wine was also offered for breakfast. However, I did not expect such a princely price of EUR 5.50. In the end we paid over 60 EUR for 2 people (for breakfast), and that is clearly too expensive for what is offered. We won't go back because we feel robbed.

There were three of us in the afternoon coffee. (registered) Unfortunately only 3 cakes on offer and no cream !!! also no spray cream. (Doesn't the boss want)

We had breakfast in the Cafe Genussreich and had reserved a table for it. Breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, however, we waited an unusually long time for our order to be taken - and then again for breakfast. Almost every table was occupied, there was a lot going on - unfortunately it was correspondingly loud. We had a hard time talking. But it is essential to mention that the service team was very friendly and courteous. Price / performance also fits.

Large selection of cakes and pies, nice staff, easy to reach. Cake bits are often bigger as usual, quiet and nice atmosphere.

Were invited to a brunch on a Saturday at the beginning of September 2018, brisk service, delicious coffee or cappuccino or special tea were brought to the table promptly.

The café is closed on Sundays. We went there for brunch on Saturday and were very happy. The café is clean and modern. Very friendly staff lovingly takes care of the guests. The cakes and tarts are baked and the cook is great! A reservation for brunch is recommended.
